Adhesives

An excellent all-round glue which dries quickly. Drying clear, it gives a good strong bond. Suitable for gluing different surfaces together, eg paper to plastic, etc.

Although it is a liquid glue, unlike PVA, it is not a wet glue. Its dry nature makes it perfect for gilding techniques.

Ideal glue for use with vellums.

Craftynotions' double sided adhesive sheet is ideal for use with Gilding Flake, being very thin, it gives a minimal 'lift' - the added height it gives the surface of your work. It has a good level of adhesion suitable for most tasks, but not as much as ultra-high adhesive sheets, which tend to be too sticky for use with Gilding Flake.

Best option for using Gilding Flakes with stencils and templates. Also as general purpose glue stick.

Bondaweb (also known as Wonder Under) is a very strong adhesive sheet which is designed to bond one fabric to another when ironed.

Bondaweb is supplied on a greaseproof paper backing which is useful for tracing designs and helps to keep the Bondaweb in place when positioning.

Excellent for appliqué, collage and 3D embroidery. Bondaweb will also adhere fabric to paper, wood, card, etc.

Use Mistyfuse Black with any fabric or with tulles and sheers to create shadow and other special effects.

In accelerated aging studies, exposure to UV rays have been shown to cause fusibles to tan (darken).
