Tyvek

Standard Grade Tyvek after colouring and application of heat

Tyvek® is spun-bonded polyethylene, which is non-toxic, accepts colouring from many sources and shrinks and bubbles when heated. Instruction leaflet included, with hints and tips.

We now stock Tyvek Fabric - the same properties as the standard grade, but more flexible. Ideal for sewing through, either before or after shrinking.

Repair Tissue

More often used in conservation work, repair tissues can offer an immense amount to multimedia and textile artists. The tissue retains its strength when wet, can be coloured using virtually anything - paints, dyes, acrylics etc. When dry it can be manipulated to create amazing effects.
